– 9:00 am you will meet your guide at your hotel for Your Morocco Food Tour, a walking tour of the ancient city. You will start with Jamaa Elna where you can have a taste of “Bisara Soup” at a local cafe’, and top it up with Moroccan traditional donuts with coffee or tea. – After you will take a walk through the ancient city hidden paths that would lead you to a special area of the market where you can visit with local Marrakech artists near the ancient Market who make all hand made decorative items that you find in shops in the souk, etc. You will make a special stop at a spice shop to get all the cooking ingredients to make a Moroccan Tagiine when you get back home. – Around 1:00pm, You will have lunch with the locals at one of some of the local restaurants in the medina where only native Moroccans eat based on your desire. Vegetarians are welcome. You will have the choice or variety from the following dishes: Mechwi (Roasted Lamb) – Tangia (Lamb or beef cooked on low heat) – Chicken Tagine with mixed vegetable – Beef Tagine with vegetable – Lamb or Beef Couscous – Vegan Tagines & Vegan Couscous – Moroccan Chicken Pastilla – Variety of Moroccan vegan salads – Grilled Sardine / Eggplant / Peppers / Fries – Lamb or Beef feet with chicken peas Tangia (cooked on low heat) – Cababs and much more – Moroccan cookies and pastries like Chbakia, etc… – After lunch, you will wonder around the ancient city and ancient market with your certified guide based on your interest. – End the day around 4:00pm at one of the rooftop cafes at Djama El Fna Square for a cup of tea, coffee, or a fresh squeezed Marrakech orange juice with a view of the ancient city. 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Cost: USD 65 per person (min 2 people) Included: Certified Guide All Tours Not Included: Food Tips Duration 7 hours |
